Abortion
Throughout the world, the number of abortion has highly increased. Abortion is defined as the termination of a pregnancy.it is the killing or the removal of an unborn baby. Abortion is legal in the United States where as some of the states do not encourage and permit it. Although the U.S Supreme Court has stated abortion to be a fundamental right guaranteed by the U.S constitution, abortion is consider unsafe. More than 50 percent of all induced abortion worldwide is unsafe. (Arambepola Rajapaksa, atlygalle moonasimghe 2016) in developing country, unsafe abortion is the leading cause of maternal deaths and about 47,00 women die of complications each year. At first, the audience a sees a woman with a knife in her hand and the color black. The viewer realizes the advertisement has lot of thing to say, they will be curious to read the details, and focused the color black. The purpose of the photographer is to make a person feel frightened. This photography also tells us, how killing an unborn child is never the right choice. Furthermore, life does not begin at birth, but at a time just right after conception; therefore, unborn babies also count as human beings that have a right to life. This happens around 13 weeks after fertilization. The termination of a human being 's life from conception to adulthood is wrong and considered to be a murder. Even if the unborn baby is not fully developed in the womb, it does not mean that the fetus represents an incomplete human being. The earliest product of conception is called a zygote. Sheldon (2011), stated that the zygote has "no brain neither the heart, but it has the human soul." (p. 16). Since the zygote has a human soul, the unborn baby represents a complete human being. Depression and anxiety are two examples of psychological impairments. There are women that become depressed after losing their child. It may happen when abortion was done because of some severe health problem in which they had no control over. They may feel depressed especially, if the baby was their first born. In this case, women with involuntary abortion will continuously stress and feel depressed. In the other hand, women with voluntary abortion also have high anxiety and depression, they are likely to commit suicide.
