The procedures can be very disturbing. some women may think it’s the best choice for them but the child could have a better life if she chose to have the baby and put it up for adoption instead of “killing” the helpless child. In my opinion abortion should be banned in the united states.…

Wade allowed for women to legally obtain abortions throughout their entire pregnancy, however, conditions were put into place that allowed for states to regulate abortions during the second and third trimesters of pregnancy. The right to have an abortion is protected under the constitution’s 14th amendment which protects the basic rights of citizens. This ruling has left our country divided in half by those who are for and against abortion. Those who oppose Roe v. Wade are referred to as pro-life and those in agreement are pro-choice.…

The topic of abortion has always been an extremely controversial topic that I find to be simply worked out; allow everyone to have their own opinions and make their own choices on the matter. Men who fight the pro-choice movement don’t make sense-only women have the right to choose what goes on within their own bodies. In this last year, in combination with the recent elections and growing prejudice throughout the world, the pro-life movement has gained much momentum, and this is just one of the hate-fueled debates that I really wish to see an end to. Although I have not completed any of my freshman year’s service with any reproductive health organizations, I do plan to in the future, and it is a topic which I am extremely intrigued with.…

The earlier a baby is aborted the less likely a woman is to suffer any physical damage; however, there are still significant risk factors to a woman who undergoes an abortion. There is often heavy emotional baggage that comes with the decision to abort a baby. Many times women are harassed for their decisions or full of regret after the procedure is over.…

Abortion should be a part of a country’s contraception policy. People should plan their families and society must allow women to end unwanted pregnancies in order to deal with failures of birth control, cases of rape and cases of incest. Abortion should be legalized but discouraged. Legal, because it is a choice; discouraged because there are other more effective ways to prevent pregnancy than abortion. Abortion is all about allowing a woman to make her own decisions, in relation to her age, financial stability, relationship stability, and mental and physical capabilities.…
