Aboriginal children can not forget what happened in the past. In the 1870s, above 150 000 aboriginal children took from their parents to attend Canada’s Indian Residential Schools to learn them the culture of European and learn them reading, writing, and math (CBC News,2010, p.49). Unfortunately, aboriginal parents have not choice, even if they want to send their children to school or not (CBC News,2010, p.49).
