According to the National Center for Education Statistics online at ed.gov. There are almost 55 million children enrolled in either public or private schools throughout the country(2015). This is a staggering amount of children that teachers come in contact with on a daily basis. Teachers show what God values, when they share what they have with those students that are in need and also promote honesty within the classroom.
Compassion and love for students can come in a variety of ways from, giving a student who comes in upset a hug; to making sure that a child who forgot their lunch or does not have one, receives a lunch, even if it comes out of their own pocket
