A friendship is a relationship that you have between friends. Anyone who has spent time with their friends and have made friendships with them, will notice that each one has a special personality all of their own. Friends have different traits that make up their personalities. A sense of humor, honesty, and always being there for that person are all things that come to mind when you think about a friend. Friends are important to have because they are a backbone when things get tough in life and are always there to love and support you. However, anyone who has spent time with friends will notice that each one has a special personality with respect to their honesty, loyalty, and care. There are three major types of friends, which are best friends, social friends, and acquaintances.
The first type of friendship is an acquaintance. The textbook definition of an acquaintance is a person one knows slightly, but who is not a close friend. This means that you basically only know them by name and nothing more. You probably don’t even know what they look like. You typically meet these types of friends at school, at work, on the bus, in the gym, or anywhere else you might possibly be. Normally you wouldn’t mind spending some time with them, but if you never had the chance to hangout, then you would have no problem parting company. We see many people at school.
