Working thesis: American government declared Global War on Terror, implemented immigration reform and created stereotype of Islamophobia as the responses to 9/11.
This paper will be focused on how American government (Bush administration) response to terrorist attacked of September 11, 2001. Mostly I will be discussing on global war on terror, immigration reform and Islamophobia as an effect of 9/11 attack.
Main points:
1. After 9/11 attack Bush administration declared global war on terror against Al-Qaeda and other terrorist group.
a) A “War Cabinet” was formed integrated by a select number of top intelligence and military advisors.

d) At the national level untold number of American Muslim were detained after 9/11 without charges and many were deported.
3. As soon as government declared the involvement of Al-Qaeda in the attack, anti-Muslim sentiments were begun in United States.
a) There is a stereotype that all the Muslim are terrorist.
b) People from west especially Americans connect the idea of terrorism with the idea of Islam.
c) 66 percentages of Arabs and Muslims in the United States worried about there future in this country and 81 percentage thoughts they were being profiled.
d) The invasion of Afghanistan and Iraq increase the anti-Muslim sentiment in the west especially in America.
Summary:
a) Hundreds and thousands of American army and people from Middle East died in the name of war on terror.

Conclusion:
Global war on terrorism was declared as Bush administration announced Al-Qaeda and other Islamic terrorist group for being responsible of the 9/11 attacked. It started anti-Islamic sentiment as Islamophobia in the United States. In addition, government formed department of homeland security, secured U.S-Mexico boarder and deport thousand of people by implementing immigration reform.
