    Going to college has always been a dream of mine. I grew up with the notion that going to college would equal success and that is what I aspired to be, successful Not very many people in the community I grew up in even gives college a thought so when I go accepted to The University of Alabama I knew I would continue onto my next journey but that did not come without major obstacles I came to the university knowing that I would excel in my studies and be the best that I can be but that was not the case. For the first couple of semester were very tough with the past events that were going on in my life. My very old and strong willed grandparents are my guardians since my mother had lost her fight to drug addiction. My grandparents always kept a up beat sense of humor and always reassured me that everything was OK but as the years go by I could tell that aging was getting the best of them. My first year of college was a series of hospital visits for my grand father. He was having constant dizzy spells and would just often lay down because he attributed to his dizziness with his diabetes and high blood pressure. Each time the dizzy spells would get worse and worse until he eventually had a stroke due to his…
