Beowulf is consider to be the most important piece of work from early England. In a scale from one to ten and ten being the highest, I would give this piece of literary a ten. I consider this grade because of the themes, character, story development, and popularity. The themes in this story such as having an identity and good versus evil are all themes that the reader can relate to and are interested in reading about. The character, Beowulf becomes the hero all the other character and the reader admire due to his bravery and skills. The poem start out by telling the history for the reader to understand and develop the plot to be a mix of happiness and sadness. Beowulf popularity has always increase or remain steady throughout all the years
