After watching this movie you would think most of the camps would have been as well kept as the one shown was and that the guards were not very harsh on prisoners. The worst thing we saw the prisoners doing was carrying the heavy anvils as part of their jobs. Other than that they always seemed to be fed and were rarely disciplined by the guards, from what we could see. As many times we saw prisoners act up or get into trouble we rarely saw the guards disciplining the prisoners as we have seen in movies and tv shows. Very seldom in "Life is Beautiful" did we see a lot of mistreatment that was to harsh, for the most part the worst punishment we saw was verbal rather then physically being
