Who’s your Daddy?

It is not difficult to figure out that the modern image of a father is evolving and pointing to a more compassionate figure. Before, the fatherly figure was merely boiled down to him being the breadwinner and the mother was considered the sole caretaker of the children 's welfare. The fatherhood role in the old days was contradicting because the fathers in the 1800s and 1900s era were driven by masculinity. They let the masculine attribute controlled the idea of what it is to be a good father. The fathers from those periods of time were more protective and controlling towards their wife and daughters. Fatherhood back then was built on more masculinity, a father had to be the provider, decision maker and powerful to receive respect from society. When you read stories on men in the 1800s to 1900s, you realize that only the strongest, powerful men survived. Fathers in 1800s and 1900s era were more masculine compared to the fathers in modern day society because they were more aggressive, controlling and dominant.
Despite what many might think, fatherhood is well known across hundreds of nations all over the world. Fatherhood has been around for several centuries and has a very important meaning in the lives of many. It would be safe to assume that fatherhood is going to be around for a long time and have an enormous impact on the lives of many people.
