This earth according to King would transform the jangling discords of this nation into a beautiful symphony of brotherhood. He further shows subordination by saying that the end result would allow all people to work, pray, struggle, go to jail and stand up for freedom together. Martin Luther King depicts several form of discrimination , when he mentions that soar of the in-group came fresh from jail cells, some have been battered by the storms of persecution and staged by the winds of police brutality. King declares that they are veterans of a creation suffering. Dr. King continues to focus on discrimination by highlighting his challenge by challenging his “in- group” to return to Mississippi, Alabama, South Caroline, Georgia, Louisiana and the slums/ghettos of the northern cities. These are all places of performing discrimination practices. In your view, did members of the in-group conspire to subordinate the out-group, or was the in-group merely operating within the social structure of its time?
