We the people is the opening to the constitution saying in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.
From my understanding based on the constitution this is a country for the people. I think in today’s society the government is trying its best to live up to the constitution because everyone's voice can be heard. As ststed in the constitution establish justice meaning to begin fairness for all the government surely lives up to this point in the preamble. The government has established laws that free the population of discrimination. Although new laws are always being added due to an increase of a certain characteristic that is not familiar with the main population of America, the government is always up to listen to it's citizens when requesting justice. Whether this contribution helps with the overall peace in America which I believe it does, I would say yes for these couple of years. America has had its ups-and-downs when it comes to domestic tranquility. America has had economic problems and trouble accepting certain characteristics of certain citizens, but with much help from the government (which promotes peace, justice, liberty and equality) America has been able to overcome these problems.
