Waste recycling is a process to change renewable waste materials into products in order to prevent waste of useful materials, reduce energy usage, reduce air pollution and also reduce water pollution. It is not unusual to say that if natural resources are recklessly used one day for sure it will come to an end. The countries who are aware of this situation started to apply new preventive methods and implement them directly to stop improvidence, increase life standards and stop the energy crisis. Waste recycling is a must under these circumstances. But what are the pros of waste recycling?

First of all with the waste recycling the demand of new raw material would decrease. By decreased demands, rapid population growth which changes the balance of nature would not damage nature that much. Usage of the natural resources would decrease end prevent scarcity.

The use of plastic increased over the years and it covers the huge amount of municipal solid waste. According to Beverage Marketing Corporation reports, the average American consumed 28.3 gallons of bottled water in 2006 which makes them the leading consumer of bottled water in the world.

Plastic recycling reduce the usage of energy and natural resources as petroleum, water and natural gas which are the main materials of producing plastic. American Plastics Council reports that production of plastics accounts for 4% of American energy consumption and 70% of plastics in U.S are made from natural gas. Process also saves considerable amount of landfill, 7.4 cubic yards of landfill space. Even though recycling of plastic is an easy process where many individual find an access to contribute by curbside programs or drop-off sites, plastic recycling is still low.
