Creating Bad Habits

Improved Essays
In the past, the United States has tried to make democracy work in other developing countries to try and create a better world to live. This won’t work, and will ultimately never work. If we want to improve other countries, we should first try to improve ours. Not only is this true, but the negative effects could greatly impact the rest of the world. There could be some positive effects if every country were to have the same type of government. For example; developing countries could possibly benefit from this. That’s if the said country chooses to become a part of this, instead of fighting it. The US sending …show more content…
Usually the way it is dealt with is, it’s put in a faraway place where it hopefully will remain without damaging anything near it. As it’s shown in the past it could go badly and cause a lot of damage to the environment. Most of the damage done could very possibly be irreversible. If we were to carry over how we deal waste to other countries, it could cause a lot of environmental problems. You cannot completely eliminate all forms of waste. With the amount of waste, we produce it would be nearly impossible. No matter how we try to dispose of it, waste will come back in some other form. Expanding this to a global level could be disastrous.

The more of the resources we use the higher the price of these resources will rise. That could cause the debt to rise and even poverty. It’s been shown that developed countries tend to use more resources. When America is going into other countries and unnecessarily using them. It could also damage local habitats.
As of now the United States is leading the world with the highest debt. It’s twice the size of the second largest debt holder in the world. Going out and showing other countries what to do is going to increase it even more. It’s even possible that other countries will become bigger spenders then the US. Eventually the debt will get out of control. Poverty will rise and there won’t be any money to help those in

America shouldn’t aid the spread of democracy. Pushing pushing democracy onto another country is no different the pushing communism. Both are ideologies about how to make a free society but neither are universally applicable. Given that democracy has worked out great for The United States of America and liked minded countries, while communism has had its troubles, my core issue lies with the inconsistent results and the various fall outs that come with branding ourselves as crusaders of democracy. The US has been unsuccessful in reordering governments to fit a democratic system.…

There is only a limited amount of space to make landfills and even though we have a lot of that space now we might not have that same space a few years from now. If we start recycling now before we have no more space it will save a lot of unneeded stress for everyone. Also the space that people reserve for landfills could be used in a more productive way that could benefit to our societies. Another reason people say that we should not have mandatory recycling is that it will save people time to just throw their trash away. It really doesn’t take that much time to put you plastic bottles inside the recycling bin and on trash day take it out to your front yard with your regular trash.…
