BRIEF SYNOPSIS
Tristan Vaughn (30’s) is a struggling, but passionate musician. His girlfriend Jules is tired of Tristan having no real-life goals and she breaks up with him.
A portal opens and out stumbles Tavaroz, a Artizen Warrior and Troubadour. He possesses a magical medallion. Following him are Serenity (28), a muse, and Gavin (17), wearing a steampunk suit and missing his hand. They do not see the face of a demonic human in the portal.
Tavaroz activates the medallion and it sends energy in the universe and zaps Tristen. Suddenly, Tristen finds himself inspired and writes lyrics.

Later, they escape and battle Draykin. Jules is rescued by Tristan but Draykin escapes.
Draykin plans to go after Tristan again. He wants to destroy the medallion.
STORY COMMENTS
TROUBADOUR is a proposed new TV series that blends sci-fi, action, comedy-drama, and music. The TV pilot also features a very likable protagonist in the character of Tristan. He’s a rather ordinary man, who is thrust in an extraordinary situation when he is selected by another race to become a artistic warrior Troubadour and he has his own private muse. With the role of warrior comes great musical inspiration and powers through a magical medallion. The main conflict for the series is a group of demonic humans who want to destroy the medallion and Tristan.
The pilot presents with strengths and weaknesses. There’s some fun creativity, such as the guitar that transforms into a sword. The idea of an ordinary man having powers while demonic humans come after him on Earth has merit.
Thus, while there are areas of the pilot that are extremely strong and engaging, there are other features of the pilot that feel less
