When an issue is at such a large scale as poverty, Our country must take a stand and figure out what the is causing such a tremendous problem. Before we tackle the problem of what is causing poverty we must understand what poverty is defined as. According to the Dictionary, poverty is defined as, the state or condition of having little or no money, goods, or means of support; condition of being poor.
