Lebron James Life Story Analysis

The greater cause of poverty today is the lack of motivation and choices people make. People all around the world are battling to escape poverty today. The main problems is that they don’t have the right people in their life to motivate them or they have nothing to go to or depend on when they need it. All people in poverty are in a struggling life and are continuously wishing they could get out of it. If had a hard working mindset and got what they wanted then poverty today would not be an issue. It seems like it is a constant battle for plenty of people around the world who don’t have that motivation. An example of how someone turned their life around from poverty is Lebron James’ life story. He went through the worst of the worst as a kid. “The identity of his father was a mystery to him.” Lebron only grew up with his mother in Akron, Ohio. “She gave birth to him in 1984 when she was 16.” He started off with nothing, but his love for sports and decided to play football when a pop warner coach invited him to come on his team. Over the years, James got into basketball and kept working on improving and honing his skills to become the greatest. Viola grew up with nothing as a child. In the article, she was in such deep poverty that “The only picture she had was a picture from kindergarten.” She also had nobody in her life to motivate her, she even said “I would fall asleep in school on a daily basis because there was nothing. We had nothing.” She decided she didn’t want to take after her family and that she would be different. School was something she took more serious, and she built up a lot of confidence.
