The only woman to accompany us on this journey is the young and brave Sacagawea. Only 17 yet so helpful. Her role is very much important to us not as a guide but as an interpreter. When she came in I didn’t think she’d be as helpful as she is. But it was nice to have someone so cheerful and outgoing in the group.
Now it’s time to say goodbye and it’s so hard. Saying goodbye and knowing we’ll never cross paths again is truly so hurtful. We wish to see her again but reality is we won’t. She’s helped us and got us this far through this journey. I can’t manage to say goodbye.
