As part of the United Nations Truce Supervision Organization (UNTSO) the prime mission is to make peace between the United States and the leaders of Al Qaeda. Al Qaeda is an international Islamist-extremist terrorist network founded by Osama Bin Laden. Their main objective is overthrow the U.S government in the Middle East, and elsewhere in the Muslim World. Middle Eastern countries are dealing with economic instability that was created by the U.S. This terrorist group has been commanded by its leader, Osama Bin Laden to kill Christians and Jews, after he issued a fatwa calling for a worldwide Islamic jihad. The UNTSO will meet with the leaders of Al Qaeda in order to talk them out of committing an atrocity. There have been rumors that Al Qaeda is plotting a new attack on the U.S, but this time their target is the World Trade Center in New York City. In order to be effective as the UNTSO we must start by deconstructing their motives behind their terrorist attacks. As a member of UNTSO, addressing the wrongs that both Al-Qaeda and the U.S. have can possibly lead to an understandment between the two and avoid an atrocity. Talking out leaders of Al Qaeda to restrain from committing a terrorist act they have pondered about and strategically put together is difficult. However, in order to be successful one must show their understanding for their rage and comprehend their points of view.
