The Therapeutic for Families Support (TSF) worker picked the client up from his school to complete a session with the client in a group setting to help the client work on coping skills while dealing with different stressor. While driving to pick up the other client for the session, the client and TSF worker talked about the client’s upcoming family change involving his siblings moving back into his household. The client stated that he is happy for the change as he miss his siblings and being the only child in the home. The TSF worker after picking the other client up took them to the library where the clients was able to find a book that they both would enjoy to help increase the client coping skill as the client loves to read books. The client was active in searching for books and sat and read the book with the other client, until the other client decided that he did not want to participate in the activity. The TSF worker suggested the clients work on the computer to which the client was able to positively interact with the other client on choosing and completing interactive computer games. During the drive to the client’s house, the client communicated to other client in a positive manner, but the other client tried to engage the client in a negative situation, such as suggesting they take their shirts off as the other client was hot. Before the TSF worker was able to redirect the client, the client stated that he did not want to take off his shirt as he was not hot. When the TSF worker arrived to the client’s house, the TSF worker talked to his grandmother briefly about his session and stated that she was thrilled the client’s siblings were going to return to the household and she would continue to work with the client on coping skills as the client and his younger sister have sibling
