The Risks Of Global Warming And Climate Change

Great Essays
Global warming has played a major role in the changing weather all over the world; the climate change all over the world is a proof that the weather conditions are changing. Global warming has made some of the hottest land cold now and the countries that never had a summer in millenniums are now having sunlight regularly. These are the basic changes that signify that global warming is affecting the whole world. Global climate change is a procedure which is according to the climate studies a rapid change in the climate of some countries. The weather of some countries is changing and the climate has changed the pattern which is known as a global climate change. The issue of global warming is too complicated and exceptionally serious, having affected …show more content…
As discussed earlier, global warming is damaging the ozone layer and the sunlight is coming directly into the world. The ozone layer protected the human kind because the direct and scorching sun rays can cause skin cancer and other problems. This shows that the global warming is a serious threat to the lives of the people living on the earth. (Kahn)
“The gathering risks of climate change are so profound that they could stall or even reverse generations of progress against poverty and hunger if greenhouse emissions continue at a runaway pace, according to a major new United Nations report.” (GILLIS) The countries are making progress according to their infrastructure and this is the reason that global warming is affecting the economic sector at a large scale. The major risk that the global warming is causing is that the people have to change their lifestyle and this is a serious threat the people are doing business, according to the climate and the climate change can be very serious to the lives of those people. Greenhouse effect is one of the major reasons that are causing the global warming and global warming is also the reason for increase in it. There are many ways through which the global warming can be lessened and considering the greenhouse is one major target in this

In such a way, they should not neglect the sphere of transport and its modernization, as the variety of solutions are at hand. For example, it is possible to improve transport modes’ efficiency (miles per gallon), switching to low-carbon fuels, etc. One more effective solution that may considerably contribute to the global warming decline refers to further investigation of nuclear power. The reason is that nuclear power results in fewer global warming emissions, so a raised share of nuclear power in the energy mix will inevitably result in global warming decrease. However, this alternative rests rather dubious after the outcomes, human being experienced during the Second World War (the nuclear bomb attack in Fukushima), as well as after some serious accidents that happened on the Nuclear Power stations, for instance in Ukraine. So, the real problem is how to direct nuclear power in needed ways in order to omit all possible threats and dangers, getting only benefits. Also, they may achieve efficient results through managing forests and agriculture, as the current situation with large-scale deforestation only enhance the global warming effect, in combination with emissions from agriculture. So, they can fight global warming by deforestation and forest degradation decrease. The last solution that would bring evident improvements deals with the reduction of

Climate change poses a risk to all people, especially in developing countries, this puts their right to food, water, and health on the line. Climate change is real, and is happening now, if we continue our current path of allowing emissions to rise year after year climate change will change everything about our world. One of the leading causes of climate change is greenhouse gases which can have a significant impact on developing countries, and laws must be implanted to stop this. The average surface temperature on earth right now is 14° Celsius and NASA has stated that average surface temperatures could rise between 2°C and 6°C by the end of the 21st century. This marked by extreme weather events, heat waves, declining global food stock, loss…

Global warming has been an important issue facing the world because many things are affected by global warming. Deforestation, burning fossil fuels, industry wastes, and greenhouse effect are all caused by global warming. The effects of global warming are an increase in sea level, droughts, storms, extinction of animals, loss of coral reef and increase in temperature. Many governments across the globe are trying to increase the awareness of global warming. Humans play a big role in this issue because they are one of the reason that global warming is happening.…

How much more evidence do skeptical people need, to believe that global warming is a real problem and needs to be solved immediately? Global warming is one the serious issues confronting humans right now. Global warming has occurred due to carbon dioxide and other gases getting stuck near the earth’s atmosphere, creating a thick blanket trapping greenhouse gases and the sun’s heat, thus making the planet warmer. It is changing our economy, health and the way we live in different ways. Many scientists are predicting that if we do not find a solution immediately to solve global warming, the future of the earth’s climate will be devastating.…

Rothkopf states “A shift away from dirty old fuels is the only path toward reducing several of the greatest security threats the planet faces, but we must carefully and avoid letting our optimism run away with us”(Rothkopf 419). To take case in point, we need to ditch fossil fuels and move to something cleaner. But we can 't let our will to be open minded about changing our ways for global warming. This will create much less of a need for fossil fuels, which is the main reason that the atmosphere is deteriorating as fast as it is now. Another big step that we need to make is to use renewable energy for electricity. Some examples of these are using wind, solar, and biofuels for electricity. People may say that these forms of energy are too expensive, but this is wrong if you look at the big picture. Solar and wind energy are definitely more expensive in the beginning, but the savings that are created over many years actually end up less costly.…

Climate Change is Real Half a century from now the planet will not be the same as it is today. With the effects of climate change increasing it is destined to negatively affect the world as we know it. Many factors from humans contribute to this global climate change. Starting with the burning of fossil fuels for energy, deforestation, and greenhouse gases increasing the levels of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere. These events are some of the main reasons for our current global climate change problems; to include sea levels rising, global temperatures rising, shrinking ice sheets, ocean acidification and extreme weather events.…
