Fort Niagara was a fortification fort built in 1726-27.It was used in the American revolutionary war. On the eve of the American Revolutionary war, Fort Niagara could not resist another regular military attack. The war began badly for Fort Niagara’s garrison. Americans had invaded Canada and captured Montreal in 1775. The French, British and the Americans fought over Fort Niagara vigorously over a long period of time.Today in 2015, United States owns Fort Niagara. They turned it into a museum for schools and families. People go there to learn all about American history.

Fort Niagara is roughly 16.4 miles from Niagara Falls. They is a road named Scott Ave, there is a mini Forrest surrounds. Fort Niagara is lake and river front for about 280degrees.
3: Advantages
The advantages of being on the lake are that there are many ways to escape if they are being attacked. With all that land around their Fort they could attack the Canadians is they reached their side.

-Fishing for food supply
-Because the fort is on the river they can see enemies coming

Disadvantages
There are a few disadvantages to this location The Canadians or French can take control of the Fort because it is so close to the Canadian boarder. One of the worst disadvantages of this location is that the fact that you can be attacked from so many angles, therefore needing a large army to protect the Fort all day and all
