The Nazis use of Propaganda
During World War two, propaganda was used by Adolf Hitler to make the Jews seem evil and greedy. He needed to convince the German population that the only way to cleanse the world was eliminate the Jews. In order to accomplish Hitler’s goal of annihilating the Jewish population, He needed to use propaganda to present his plan in an appealing manner. In the year 1926 Joseph Goebbels was put in charge of gaining support for the Nazi party in Berlin. He did well and three years later, in 1929, Goebbels was selected to be in control of the Nazi propaganda machine. Still climbing the ladder in 1933 He was appointed the Minister of Enlightenment and Propaganda; he held this position until the year 1945. Goebbels was extremely noteworthy in his field and accomplished many feats.
Hitler put into effect the Reich Ministry of Public Enlightenment and Propaganda, in the year 1933. The Ministry was made to ensure that the Nazi message was portrayed a favorable manner through all forms of media. Books, rallies, newspapers, films, music, art, radio, education, and even the press were filtered and controlled by the Ministry. Goebbels was given access to all of the government’s resources to announce Hitler and his views. Propaganda and filtering the media were essential to implementing Hitler’s regime positively.
