Back in Spring Quarter 2013 I had the chance to observe a local high school in the LAUSD, being there helped me led to the decision of being an instructor. During observation I recall seeing two students who will not do their work, the instructor not doing much to encourage them. After observing those two students it helped led to the decision on becoming a teacher to be able to make a difference in teen’s lives through education. The reason being is being able to educate the future generations by teaching them their own potential at a young age. By having them learn their own potential at a young age instructors can assist the students understand that they are capable to be anything. Instructors can also help prepare them for the real world and show them that no matter where they come from dreams can come true by putting their mind to it. Overall, I would invest that time in teaching them by also teaching the teens their literacy, their prosperity, and prepare them for a future. The key point of students succeeds goes hand with hand in how the students learn depends on how the instructor presents the subject. Students tend to learn differently, but it also depends on how one teaches the subject. Students tend to learn best when students tend to write notes off the board, do handouts, and be followed by a quiz after each lesson.
