People today look back on our ancestors. The most common civilization people look to is Egypt. Egypt began in 4500 BC agriculture started to begin along the banks of the Nile river. The Nile river made Egypt Thrive with power. It brought the Egyptians fresh water, which all humans need, it also brought them silt, a muddy soil that was rich with nutrients. Other resources like meat made much less of a contribution because the Nile brought the animals there, because in a dessert like Egypt the animals had to stay around water so they wouldn’t get to dehydrated.
People today call the Nile “The the freeway of the ancient world.” They say that because they used the Nile for traveling and trading, like you can do on a highway. Archaeologists also
