Introduction
My MBTI type is ISTJ; or Introvert, Sensor, Thinker, Judger. Introverts prefer to focus their attention inward, consider things fully before responding, concentrate on one project at a time, and work at a careful but steady pace. Sensors prefer to focus on "what is" rather than "what could be", work with real things rather than ideas, apply past experience to solving problems, and receive specific and realistic directions. Thinkers prefer to analyze problems logically, weigh pros and cons, and make decisions objectively, be tough negotiators, and be motivated by achievement. Judgers prefer to make many decisions as part of their work, work in a predictable environment, complete their responsibilities before relaxing, and maintain control over projects. The MBTI first published in 1943 as a questionnaire and was developed in the U.S. by Katharine Cook Briggs and her daughter Isabel Briggs Myers. Katharine originally created this test when she met her daughter’s future husband, Clarence Myers. She noticed that he looked at the world in a different way than the rest of her family. This caused her to write a literature review about understanding the different temperaments that are found in different people. She later did more work and the first edition of her questionnaire was published with the help of the Educational Testing

This simple process has resolved many hidden issues without embarrassing anyone. In wartime, it is the trust between all military members that truthfully counts. If I ask our USAF folks, if that recently repaired aircraft is airworthy, I expect the truth because the aircrew's life will be in the line during airstrike behind enemy lines. Personal leadership / management style analysis During my first few weeks in the field experience course, I have noticed the complexity of leadership and management that is involved in the work field. Both, a leader and a manager are very important people in an organization. According to Collins (2001), managers and leaders “exist in different forms, roles and responsibilities”; as a result, Five Level Hierarchy exists, where level one has highly capable individuals, two is contributing team member, three is competent manager, four is an effective leader, and finally five is an executive. A great leader must be an effective communicator in order to lead a group of people in order to accomplish a goal or vision.…

Paramedics are repeatedly exposed to critical incidents. Critical incidents are events involving death, life-threatening injury, a crisis situation with a need for rescue or emergency that may result in stress-related reactions and the development of PTSD. Statistics show “paramedics have the highest incidence of PTSD, higher than police or firefighters (McFarlane, Williamson, & Barton, 2009), reporting that up to 22%, or more than one fifth, of paramedics will develop PTSD (Bennett et al., 2005; Clohessy & Ehlers, 1999). These statistics show that PTSD represents a significant health issue among this group. As a result of repeated exposure to critical incidents and poor coping mechanisms, they become prone to negative implications on their…

The House/Tree/Person Test Tianjiao Ma Why This Topic I’ve read a book called “A Guide Book of the House-Tree-Person Test” in high school. It simplely introduces that test takers are asked to draw a house, a tree, and a person separately. Then, based on the way they draw and matched it with the samples in the book, individuals are able to roughly interperate and analyze test takers’ personalities. I found it very interesting, and therefore, I developed an informal and nonacademic study to examine the validity of this test by asking my high school classmates to fill out a survey. It contains two parts, including the house/tree/person test, and the MBTI personality inventory.…
