Laura McNeal has written a couple books such as The Incident On The Bridge, Dark Water. Her and her husband, Tom, are coauthors of Crooked, Zipped, Crushed, and The Decoding of Lana Morris. She holds a Master of Arts in fiction writing from Syracuse University. Although, she has written these books, she has been a freelance journalist, a crime writer, and a high school English teacher. She is now living in Coronado, California with her family.
Thisbe is falling for Clay Moorehead. Clay Moorehead lives in his parents boat by himself while his parents are away and has parties or has his girlfriend over. He never keeps any girl for very long so after Thisbe catches him with another girl she takes his car and drives to the top of the bridge. Someone in a red pickup truck has noticed her standing in the middle of the bridge and he thought she might have car issues and needs help until she waves him on and he is gone. Ted, Thisbe’s sister had complete faith that her sister would never jump off the bridge because she had a great life and great friends and wouldn't jump. After her family had hung up missing signs they had started getting help from others around town. The two people that had saw Thisbe had talked to the police and told them and the family what they had saw with her standing on the bridge but the two people had never seen Thisbe jump or had even come close. They thought that she might have been having car trouble until she waved them on to go. When her family had finally found her on the old mans boat they knew that Thisbe would be safe and they would take her home and the mystery would be solved and everyone would be careful while walking
