A child schedule now in day in much more systematic and supervised, with little or any space for outdoor play. Dr. Richard Louv, author of the best seller book "Last Child in the Woods"; where he stated " In today 's society of indoor children, personal connections with nature seem hard to come by, which threatens to lessen future generations concerns about the environment" (Novotney). Dr. Louv has come to the conclusion that if children do not interact and have a connection with nature, this might lead to the next generation of adults to care about the environment. Parents might be to busy to take their children to the park, or parents who are afraid of their children 's safety when they leave the house alone, giving as result children who stay indoors or assist supervise after school activities.
