Viewers claim that there is a strong connection between John and Sherlock and they claim it’s in a homosexual way. Sherlock states that he is married to his work. (p24) It is the viewer’s discretion on how they want to read and perceive the stories of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. Even though Sir Arthur Conan Doyle had no intentions to create Sherlock as a figure of romance, the viewers still perceived Sherlock to be, in some form, full of emotions. The sexuality preference of Sherlock, whether it’s gay, bisexual, asexual, heterosexual or whatever it is, it doesn’t affect the story in any way. The stories, Sherlock Holmes BBC TV Series and Conan Doyle’s original work, are narrated without any effect. However, Sherlock Holmes movie has drawn many argument that Sherlock is indeed homosexual. The viewer creates the image of Sherlock Holmes and John Watson and this images are portrayed based on how the stories is being read and the person as well. However, the telling of a story can be different for every person based on how it is perceived and read, but the authors or producers have created a piece of work without the realm specific of sexual preferences in the characters and having no effect on how the story is
