The effect that the French and Indian War had on the coming of the American Revolution was an extreme victory for the British and brought a great impact. Britain got to expand territories and because of the war it also increased their nations debt. The war creates lots of anger towards the colonists among the English who were upset with the disagreements with money. They were upset with all of the taxes that the British were imposing on them for no reason, just because they were in so much debt from the war. The English wanted a change with their government. The Stamp Act was a direct British tax on anything that was a printed item. Direct taxes are taxes that you can actually see, the ones that are not included. They had to purchase these documents and with every purchase they were charged the tax.. Parliament was trying to strengthen other Navigation Acts to ensure American exports. The colonists quickly became upset with the direct tax and became violent with protests. The Sugar Act raised the tax on sugar in an effort to shut down the trade between the French and English. The act entitled those that they must impose the taxes, stronger court systems with juries, and had a negative effect on everyday peoples lives. The Tea Act striked a rebellion in Boston, it didn 't pose any new taxes but it sent extra tea to them. With receiving all the extra tea the people ended up having to pay for it in subsidies. Another act was regarded to by another violation of their rights and it was the final of the Coercive Acts that also contributed to the explosiveness of the people. The Declatory Act is the Declaration of Independence. The Continental Congress petition the King to the crown and directly appeal King George the third with the Olive Branch Petition. King George the third rejected the appeal and many of the colonists believed that their problems were with the policy and not the King. The King declared that all of his military officers bring justice. When the King says that it meant war against the rebellious Americans and the next time that they go to the king is when they write the Declaration of Independence.
