Anger; defined in the dictionary as “a strong feeling of displeasure, and belligerence aroused by a wrong” (Dictionary.com,) can make even the most reasonable person act out. Anger can make someone act in a way even they don’t seem to recognized.. This is seen throughout The Iliad and the tv show H2O: Just Add Water. Anger causes Achilles and Charlotte to act out and hurt the people around them, even if they don’t mean it. In the Iliad, Achilles is angry at the very beginning of the book because Agamemnon took Briseis from Achilles because he had to give away Chryseis. Achilles feels insulted by this and decides not to help the Greeks fight the battle against the Trojans. Soon after he goes to talk to Thetis, his mother, and asks her to punish the Greeks, even though Agamemnon was the one to blame for making Achilles mad.
Achilles is angry at Agamemnon but wants all the Greeks punished. Just like Achilles, Charlotte hurts one of the girls in H2O: Just Add Water out of jealousy. Cleo, Emma, and Rikki are mermaids and have special powers. They live in Australia and were turned into mermaids because they jumped into a moon pool in Mako Island, which isn’t very far from where they live.
Charlotte finds out that Cleo, Emma, and Rikki are mermaid and waits till the right time to also jump into the moon pool to become a mermaid. Once she becomes a mermaid, she has all three powers that each individual girl has. Charlotte tries to become friend with the girls because they all…
