Impressed by this masterpiece, a series of questions sprang to my mind--- why it was the ancient Egyptians constructed the Great pyramid of Giza but not other civilizations? According to what locals told me, the Nile River gave birth to the immortal civilization of the Egyptians, and ancient Egypt architecture never would have become such prosperous had it not been for the Nile River. Due to the enough supply of water, ancient Egypt became the first country that civilians could acquire enough food without the all-day-long working of farmers. During the flood period lasting 3-4 months each year, ancient Egyptians lent their work to build pyramids.
