We are all different shapes, sizes, heights, color, ethnicity and race. And with all our differences, come similarities. And one of the similarities are a belief in something or someone.
That belief I am talking about is religion. Religion is the belief in and worship of a superhuman controlling power, especially a personal God or gods. And the latin meaning is the joining of our natural, human world to the sacred world. Also human purpose, in some religions, human beings are part of a great divine plan, and although each person is unique, individual meaning comes from the cosmic plan. The cosmic plan is the forces between the good and evil of people within them. In the world today there are a lot of different religions and I think it is key to know and learn about them because religion can connect other individuals with customs and traditions in order to better communicate and understand each other morally and ethically.

I also think it is important to study religion because many of us misunderstand the beliefs in religions because we are not educated properly about the different types and what goes on in the religion. Many people go off of what they see in the news, newspapers, internet and what they are told from their colleges, friends and parents.

The benefits you can get from studying religion are being aware of the many different religions, being properly educated about them and helping to educate others without your bias influences. The problems we…
