We all want certain things, and sometimes greedy people want more than others. Like just about

everyone, I have been a greedy person, and have had greed. My greed is ordinary though it is my

motivator to go to college, get a better job, and truly succeed in life. I believe greed is good and bad

because it can bring out the worst in people, but others it truly drives them to just be successful, happy

in sensible amounts as it will help you achieve what you want, and do better in life.

Greed is bad if you take what you want without earning it. There have been many cases of

greedy people stealing from the average Joe. Bernie Madoff is a prime example of taking greed to an

incomprehensible level, intentionally stealing billions of dollars from unknowing investors. He was the

mastermind of the biggest ponzi scheme in American History. It 's possibly he stole money simply for

the fun of it, or maybe the thought of being able to get away with this greedy act was too tempting. The

bottom line is, either way Bernie Madoff still got caught, and it appears it was greed combined with

the love of other people 's
