The Causes and Effects of The Domestic Violence.

There is no place like home. The home is the place where everyone can find peace, love and more understanding. Now, what happens when this house becomes the theater of a problem and violence? According to the Bureau of Justice, Domestic violence is the leading cause of injury to women between the ages of fifteen and forty four in the United States, more than car accidents, muggings, and rape combined. Otherwise, a woman is more likely to be assaulted, injured, raped, or killed by a male partner than by any other type of assailant. Therefore, aggressive behavior becomes a serious problem, which needs attention in our society. However, domestic violence is a serious problem with several causes and huge consequences for the whole society.
To begin, domestic threat is somehow related to the problem of ego shaped by the cultural and religious beliefs of the society. Even though men and women are equal in front the law, they are so many facts and traditions that keep men to think that they are the commander chiefs of families. First, the physical shape of men’s bodies are always taller and stronger than women’s bodies. Because of these natural advantages, some men are tempted to dominate their partner. Then, it becomes a kind of complex for those men who have a huge ego, especially when they feel like the role is changing and they are losing this authority in front of their partner.
