Teenagers are highly susceptible to being influenced by their environment. A fellow peer can change their mind on the right thing to do. A girl at party is offered a drink, and politely declines and says that she does not drink, but everyone begins harassing her telling her it is only one drink. In the end, the girl accepts the drink Though the girl still has the free will to say no, the peers are tampering with her will. Teenagers will typically go to any extent to feel liked by their peers, and this will affect their decisions. When the girl made the decision to accept the drink, she presumably did it because believed that she changed her mind and made the decision to accept it, but her unconscious mind interpreted the informed and she decided to drink because she wanted to be liked by her peers.
