Some say they prefer the quietness of a home birth, while others say they like the assurance of having doctors. The reason those that feel like home births are the way to go is, because after a hospital birth, things get very busy. Bright lights are shown in the baby 's face and many nurses are carrying out procedures on the poor thing. This can cause a baby to shy away or even shut down from people. At home, on the other hand, there is time to be quiet and calm. Those first few moments are sacred and special to not only the baby, but the parents as well.
