There are many extremist groups who have certain agendas needing to be carried out. For centuries extreme groups and individuals have committed violent acts to achieve a particular goal. Terrorism is a word that is implied when an attack happens. Defining it can be a very difficult task, due to the amount of definitions scholars consider. Setting a foundation is very important before critically analyzing suicide bombers.
Likewise, exactly what terrorism plus suicide equals in today’s current world is a topic needing such a critical review. The reason is because it continues to be a very popular method to attack and cause serious harm to the world. First and foremost, understanding what exactly an aggressor of this magnitude can cause is needed. A sound definition will set the stage of a journey needed answers in order to find a way to prevent future acts from happening. So, how is this act different from other terrorist attacks? Too, this act is very different because when a strike happens. The reason this is so different from other attacks is because a suspect or suspects do not see all the havoc from the attack. (Hoffman, 2006, p. 132) The reason the terror is not seen is because the individual takes not only other individuals live, but suicide is committed. This type of suicide is not the same as a regular attempt or completed suicide.
Important to realize, the attacker actually has trained and or has an entirely different mindset and a lot of times many other people die with the attempt. It is sort of mind boggling to understand why exactly this is so popular. Looking at past articles, books and researching suicide terrorism will help set this mentality needed. A women may look like a “wolf in sheep’s clothing.” This is very sound information because the security community needs to be able to influence women in a different way. If it is possible to intercept an attacker before a strike happens it would be very beneficial. The reason would be to influence a suicide women otherwise and to collect valued information to get to the head of the operation. Additionally, having women who act as a suicide bomber, but is actually a security professional would be a plus. It needs to be understood that this would be a very dangerous position, but could save the lives of many people before a suicide bomber completes a mission. Obviously, a lot of training would need to be involved for the security specialist who commits to such a duty. Of course, a possibly remains that this security specialist may need to commit such an act in order to collect the needed information to prevent an
