1. Communication
As a freelancer for AAS Design Company, Ho Chi Minh City, from 2011 to 2014, I developed my interpersonal and English skills through positions such as document editor, interpreter and translator.
As a Library Student Assistant for MacRae Library, Dalhousie Agricultural Campus from September 2015 to present, I have provided a variety of library services to students, staff and faculty at the Library’s Service Point, instructed them how to make use of the library service, kept patrons’ information confidential and assisted Library staff with special projects.

As a photo technician for Truro Raceway, I improvised with sudden problems with the equipment.
4. Teamwork As a logistics assistant for Nick Vujicic Talk show in May 2013, I assisted the team with the backstage work.
As a volunteer and fundraiser for Love Summer 2013, I assigned works for teammates to make and sell handmade key chains to raise fund productively. I worked as a team to transport donated goods and items.
As a volunteer of RESPECT Team – Dalhousie Agricultural Campus, I assisted Student Service team to educate peers about making healthy choices.
As a library student assistant, I work with other partners whose background are different from mine. I always respect their differences, such as gender, race/ethnicity, thinking styles, etc.

I actively listen and ask questions to understand the patron’s requests. I identify obstacles to meeting customer requests and find the best ways to overcome them with the resources available. If I cannot solve the patron’s problem on my own, I seek for assistance from other staffs. When his/her request is not possible, I give the patron other option and make suggestions in the customer’s interest. I always respond with an appropriate sense of urgency.
