Questions 1. Where did you grow up? * I grew up in New Jersey. 2. What was your childhood like? * It was very happy and filled with family and friends. I lived by a playground in the city. All of my friends and I would walk to the playground together and play games like marbles. 3. Where did you attend school? * I attended Our Lady of the Valley in Orange, New Jersey. It was an all-girls school until my freshman year and then boys were allowed. The first few years, there would be only about three boys in about twenty girls. 4. * I feel that today’s high schools don’t teach as well as when I was in school. Kids do learn more subjects and more up to date ones like more sciences and math’s but they do miss out on more detailed history like they ones I had. 9. What do you think is the most important thing for a student to gain from their high school experience? * Grades are important but truly the most important things to gain from high school would be honesty and compassion. You gain friends and have your family and those are the people that you don’t want to lose. 10. Did you enjoy your teenage years? * Yes absolutely very much. Besides all of my friends I also had four other sisters. My mother and father worked so we had to take care of each other for the most part. We would go to the parks together and all travel to the laundry mat together. 11. Tell me about growing up in your teen years.
Please describe your typical day as a teenager. * A typical day as a teenager was sometimes boring. I would get up and eat my breakfast and get ready for my three bus rides to school. After school, you came straight home; there was no going out with friends or even driving anywhere because most of us did not have cars to ourselves. Other than gym, we didn’t even go outside at school. When we came home we had chores to do. 12. What was the most stressful part about being a teenager? * The most stressful part about being a teenager would probably be school.
