Description: Ashayla will elevate her self-esteem by developing a consistently positive self-image of herself by restructuring the definition of herself so that she does not focus on weight, size, and shape as her primary criteria for self-acceptance.
Obj: Over the next 6-12 months, Ashayla will gain an understanding of the nature of feelings that leads to low self-esteem by identifying 3 to 5 triggers that drives her self-image.

Ashayla revealed that she dislikes everything about herself. Ashayla stated that she does not have positive thoughts when it comes to her. Ashayla explained that she would go days without eating and when she forced to eat she would eat but then go the restroom and vomit it all back up. Ashayla informed paraprofessional that she has gone as far as buying over the counter diet pills. Ashayla pointed out that she does not feel like she is pretty or good enough for people. Ashayla advised that another reason she feels this way is because she is in the 7th grade and she should be in the 10th grade. Ashayla said that the other kids make fun of her and talk about her size. Ashayla that makes her not want to attend school and makes her not want to be around no one other than her family. Ashayla admitted that she know she needs to change her way of thinking but for right now that is how she feels. Ashayla said that she will try the intervention of looking in the mirror and telling herself that she is beautiful but thought that was the most silliest thing to do. Ashayla is making progress towards her goals as evidence of understanding she needs to think positive about herself and things that concern her. Overall the session was
