Same sex marriage have been complicated for many years, gay marriage was a discriminatory and unconstitutional that same-sex couples should not have access or the right to all the benefits enjoyed by different-sex couples. This year On June 26, 2015, the US Supreme Court ruled that gay marriage is a right protected by the US Constitution in all 50 states. Back then there was only 37 States with Legal Gay Marriage and 13 States with Same-Sex Marriage Bans.
Prior to the U.S Constitution decision, same-sex marriage was already legal in 37 states and Washington, DC, but was banned in the remaining 13. US public opinion had shifted significantly over the years, from 27% approval of gay marriage in 1996 to 60% in 2015. Many people still disagree with the fact that Gay marriage is protected by the US constitution, but honestly to those who are gay don’t care because same sex marriage have been debating for so many years now and they finally got what everyone else deserved, to be happy with whomever they chose to be. Either it was same sex marriage or different sex marriage. Everyone has the right to be happy.
Same sex marriage has extraordinary rates of pros and cons. An example of Pro is that the government benefit’s is this is one of the largest reasons to get married, because the government provides a lot of benefits exclusively to married couples that’s how they make their money.
