Research Paper On Neruda's Exile

Neruda’s decision of speaking against the president lead to his exile. He was banned from the communist party and stripped of all his positions. The government had accused him of deformation of the president and claiming lies against Chile. Shortly after, communism was outlawed and an order for Neruda’s arrest was issued. For two years Neruda had to live underground in his own country until it was safe for him to leave.
