Religion in the workplace is one of the hot topics in today’s society, and on a regular basis, all government agencies at all levels are dealing with issues regarding religious accommodations and discrimination. From the selective hiring process to the firing decisions, government agencies are finding a hard time of keeping up with new religion practices. Different religious practices need different accommodations, so when it comes to “sincerely held religious, ethical, or moral beliefs,”(VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964) there is no “one size fits all” policy that can be put in place to solve all religion issues in the workplace.
