1. Recreation, a standout amongst the most turbulent and questionable periods in American history, started amid the Civil War and finished in 1877. It saw America 's first trial in interracial majority rule government. The destiny of servitude and the divisive legislative issues of Reconstruction were integral to the Civil War. Reconstruction stays applicable today, in light of the fact that the issues key to it are still uncertain. These issues include the part of the government that ensures residents’ rights and the likelihhod of monetary and racial equity.

Somewhere around 1865 and 1870, amid the recorded time known as Reconstruction, the Thirteenth, Fourteenth, and Fifteenth Amendments to the U.S. Constitution were endorsed to set up political uniformity for all Americans. ("Reconstruction (1865-1877) - Videos & Lessons | Study.com," n.d.)

In 1857, a Supreme Court case known as the Dredd Scott Decision discovered that African Americans were not subjects. ("Reconstruction (1865-1877) - Videos & Lessons | Study.com," n.d.) The Fourteenth Amendment toppled that administration, expressing that 'All persons conceived or naturalized in the United States...are residents of the United States and of the State wherein they dwell.
