Sexism is being prejudice, stereotyping or discrimination because of gender. Women back a time ago could be seen as inferior to men and only useful for cleaning, reproduction, taking care of their children, sex and sometimes even seen as evil "Woman is the gate of the devil, the path of wickedness, the sting of the serpent, in a word a perilous object." (Aquinas). This quote it talking about women being seen as evil or leading men to evil, like Eve from the Bible comments the first sin and leads Adam to sin. Racism now is a bit less direct, like in schools there are segregated by drawing lines around certain neighborhoods, or police unfair to certain races. Like looking at the number of students of a certain race you looking at Weldon, Halifax, and Roanoke Rapids, Roanoke Rapids is mostly white with Halifax and Weldon bring mostly black. And these black school are also the schools known to have the low test scores bad teachers and students who may be part of low income families. Kids at these schools like Weldon and Halifax are given the worst education especially compare to schools like Roanoke Rapids.
