This project aims to utilize the naturally occurring and inexhaustible coastal winds in Somerset County, Maryland to produce clean and domestic electricity. However, critics arise faster than the projects’ development.
During a local forum, town residents claim that areas where wind turbines had been built the property values went down because nobody wants to buy property that is within 1500 feet of a turbine because of the noise.
