The website, Death Penalty Info, provides a lot of information about the cost of the death penalty. California taxpayers don’t like it because it 's cost 4 billion dollars since 1978. Instead of using the 4 Billion dollars to kill worthless human beings the state of California could have used it to improve their education system and help their students get the best education they possibly can. There is some good things that the 8 amendment has done but it mostly negative because it has not brought crime or murder rate down over the years. Death row shouldn’t even exist anymore because they do not execute as many people as they use to before so that starts a lot of arguments because of money involvement to maintain the prisoners stable in prison. The 8th Amendment still has a long way to come even though it 's been around for a long time it still need improvements to make this country the safest and well balanced it could possibly can be so people won 't have a lot of controversy against the death penalty and the punishments prisoners get while incarcerated so they can be well punished but not in a inhumane way. Death Row could still be around but they have to find a way to make less costly and improve the way to use so the bad people of this country could see what they 'll face if they commit anything harmful or deadly to another human
