Biomedical engineering one of the new top growing engineering fields. Biomedical engineering has found after World War II, “As a field, it is very broad, with applications ranging from molecular imaging to the construction of artificial hearts” (Bery, 2009). Today engineers can help patients not only doctors because now engineering can study the life of science. Biomedical engineers can make changes in people’s lives. This shows that many inventions in biomedical engineering has made people live better and helped the way medicine deals with diseases. Moreover, biomedical engineering are the fastest developing career today. As Lucas (2014) said, “the critical skills needed …show more content…
It is a very amazing idea because it helps children to not think about something when they are at the hospital. As Rascon and Mchugh 2015 mentioned, “The robot itself was built and developed by Aldebaran, which calls it NAO and sells it for $8,000 and up.” One example that is important in biomedical engineering because it’s helpful for children when they are getting angry is the robot can do what they want and also this robot can play with them. “This technology significantly improves the health care experience for our young patients and their parents” (Ramsay, 2015). This enhanced biomedical engineer device is a great invention for children who are reacting immediately from the doctors this can make them
