Introduction What is project management? Common logic would tell me that an individual is in charge of a project and the main objective is make sure to turn it on time. But, it’s not as easy as it sounds, it turns out that there are more complex steps that are involved in project management. There is even an organization around project management. Project management is not only applicable in the business or political world; the skills can be applied in the other sectors or industries like health care. Let us use Apple as example to demonstrate the project life cycle. This is the stage where Apple as a company decides to launch a product or an upgrade version of an already existing product like iPhone 7. Feasibility analysis or study is the stage where Apple evaluates the costs, benefits, and risks of the project. If I where an executive in Apple my following analysis would be that the benefits would outweigh the costs when iPhone 7 is launched and in the market.
